Europe’s A-G energy label will be free of all plus categories within five years, if the European Parliament’s appointed lead Dario Tamburrano gets his way. A draft report by the 5 Star MEP, that went public yesterday, will be the basis of negotiations within the industry committee and set the tone of the overall Parliament position. Coolproducts welcomed the report. Its recommendations would boost the power of the energy label to shape the development of energy efficient products and better empower consumers.
